This easy-to-install device should be placed on the seat belt for the entire duration that your capsule or infant seat is housed in your vehicle. The device features a black neoprene sleeve that wraps around and therefore secures the seat belt buckle with heavy-duty Velcro®. This should be compulsory for every car seat!!
This should be compulsory for every car seat!! The buckle guard covers the adult seatbelt that secures the seat so it cannot be unbuckled. I bought one after my son's capsule became unbuckled and it scared the life out of me. Never happened again with this product.
We bought a second for the spare carseat. Then today, my daughter's capsule became unbuckled as we hadn't yet hurphy-durphy'ed it! Needless to say, her capsule is now secure. Buy one, it's not worth the risk, we got lucky.
